I normally do not do this, but in this case - I must! I was just informed that I have been falsely accused of something I did not do! It seems that a long time "friend" (Harold Heim) has chosen to accuse me of pirating the older "Filter Factory" plugins. He based this accusation on a preview image & that is just not right! If anything, my only crime is that I have improved them! One needs to simply open my filter along with the alleged "piracy" with the same settings and clearly, the results are different. I have no idea what Mr Heim's problem is with me. We have been friends for a very long time. Please, bear with me while I try to resolve this issue & I apologize to anyone who has been mis-led on this. It is simply not the truth! My only theory is this - he dropped out of FilterMeister development & seems to be on a crusade to hurt those of us who still use FM. He has made it public that he wants to make his own Filter Editor & I wish him luck on that project. However, he has no right to dis-credit those of us who choose to continue to develop with FilterMeister! If his editor is better, I will use it! Until then, he really needs to stop making false accusations out of pure jealousy.
Just wanted to say a big thanks to those who are stopping by from linkreferral.com! Most of your comments have been very helpful to me in improving this site! Keep those comments coming! Any of you who are interested in exchanging links, please let me know. This is the only way we get ranked in the search engines. It's a win/win for all of us :)
I apologize to anyone who tried to email us via the link on the homepage & got bounced. I had consolidated email addresses for simplicity & neglected to update the mail link. It has been corrected and now works. Also, there is a new page for DHTML Menus (Dynamic HTML). You can get to this page via the bottom link (on the homepage) under "Web Development".
Summer's over & the kids are back to school. Now getting back to work here on the site. I decided to close the other site & just concentrate on 1 site, this one! I will slowly be moving the stuff from the other site to here. I have already put the "ASL TicTacToe" game on here. I have also put Dynasty Software on MySPace, Twitter, and Facebook. Links for those sites are on the homepage. I have several projects I am starting on, many were dreamed up over the summer. So, please check back often to see what is new.
This is a very exciting time here. Over the next few days we will be launching some exciting new pages! We will soon be offering some new "Menu Systems" for your web pages (DHTML and Flash!). We are also starting to do Flash! Movies and Banners. All of the pages will be made available under the "Web Designs" portion of the main page. The DHTML menus can be easily cusomized, however the Flash! menus can either be done by us or if you have some way of importing a .SWF file. We hope you enjoy the new things we are doing this summer & we wish you a very happy 4th Of July (if you celebrate it) in advance :)
I launched this site back on September 1, 2008. I had no idea that there were still some (for lack of better words) "Fans" of my old site...www.dynastysoftwareusa.com! Even though that site no longer exists, you people still do. For some reason, I have been getting alot of emails lately asking me to reprise this news page. You spoke, I listened! It's just how I do things :)
My news page has always been blunt & to the point, most of all...HONEST! That said, I will move on to the topics at hand (and alot of you know, my "News" is alot of commentary along with what we are doing at Dynasty).
I am in process of re-working this site. Pretty major record in my case. I am surprised it took me this long to actually sit back & look at how lame a site I could make with an editor called "Web Page Maker". It's making me start to re-think the lame logos in "The Logo Creater" (Another Story). I started out with the redesign in Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2008. The "Lame" became "Ultra-Lame". So, to keep it simple...after all these years...the "Old Vintage Stuff" still rocks! :) I fired up PSP 8.01 and Microsoft Visual InterDev 6.0 and here's the start of my results :) I just wonder how long it will take for me to get bored with Xara (Remember, Macromedia - Dreamweaver lasted like 2 weeks with me LOL)?
I am trying to make this site as simple to use as possible. I look forward to hearing from all of you. I like comments to tell me how you think I am doing. Yes, I actually read all email & do my best to accomodate (I know I spelled that wrong...lol). I want to make this a fun place to come to & can only do that if I know what you people want.
Oh yeah...our software! Oooops, my bad :) Yeah, we are back into the AOL Add-Ons. I just need to know what you people need there. I put out a new SigMan & also a new version of our cornerstone, XTramaker For PSP. I'm still on the idea of a AOL chatroom add-on. Before you ask, yes...there will be updates of our other programs (ie FontMan, PicMan, and TagMan...just to name a few). I have dedicated way too much to www.rentacoder.com (desparation, I guess) and not enough time to this site. The work there has been great, but the bid requests get pretty lame. At this point, here is my score: Open - 42, Won - 1, Lost - 245, Cancelled - 121. Why do I even try there? LOL
